How does it work?

At the heart of the system is a Data Collection Unit (DCU) which is fitted discreetly to the vehicle. The DCU, which requires no driver interaction or intervention, continually monitors and records on a minute-by-minute basis the vehicle’s position, speed and distance travelled, using the Global Positioning System (GPS). This data forms the basis of a live tracking service and historical management information that enables you to reduce fleet running costs and demonstrate your legal and regulatory compliance.
